5th Wheel

Fifth Wheel

If you’re looking for an upscale camping experience in your new RV, then a fifth wheel could be your best choice. Fifth wheels are typically larger, wider, and have higher ceilings so they feel roomy and comfortable. Fifth wheels have generous living spaces and are typically furnished with overstuffed sofas, armchairs, fireplaces, and large TVs. Their larger kitchens usually come with modern kitchen appliance suites. The hallmark of a fifth wheel is the cab extension over the truck bed which contributes to the extra room. These campers also have larger storage spaces for camping gear and luggage. They have larger water and natural gas tanks so there’s hot water for doing dishes and hot showers.

Park Trailer

If you’re a snowbird who wants to spend the winter months at a favorite camping site in a warm climate near a lake or oceanside, and not travel from campsite to campsite during your vacation, then a park trailer could be the best camper for you. Park trailers are not designed to be towed like other RVs. Instead, these campers are designed to be ‘parked’ for an extended period of time, to serve as a vacation home. Park trailers are typically larger and more elegantly designed and furnished than other RVs. They have large, modern kitchens, living areas with overstuffed sofas and theatre seating, large TVs, and full sized sliding patio doors. The master bedroom suites are spacious and elegant and many have walk-in closets. Everything is designed to feel like home.

Travel Trailer

Travel trailers are among the most popular campers for RV living because of their versatility and towing ease. They range in length from under 20’ to over 40’ and come in a variety of designs and configurations. For families, these campers can have bunk beds for children, queen beds for mom and dad, and full sized bathrooms complete with a modern shower. Smaller travel trailers are good for couples and empty nesters and they can usually be towed by most medium sized automobiles. Travel trailers are spacious, warm, and nicely furnished with modern amenities to make your camping experience homey and comfortable, like full kitchens and large master bedrooms. They have ample storage for gear and luggage, too. All of them are competitively priced to save you money.

Toy Hauler

If you enjoy bringing your outdoor toys on your camping vacations, then a toy hauler would be your best choice when buying a new camper. Toy haulers come either as fifth wheels or travel trailers and have a garage area where you can load and haul your ATV, dirt bikes, motorcycle, and even a dune buggy in larger toy haulers. An access ramp door opens and drops down so you can easily load your outdoor toys. When you reach your campsite and unload your toys, the garage area usually converts to additional living or sleeping space. Depending on the length of your toy hauler, the garage can vary from around 6’ to over 20’ in many instances. In addition to your toys, these campers come with additional storage for your other outdoor gear. Also note that many of the ramp doors also convert to outdoor decks for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors.
